About Me

My name is Lucy. I am a Sydney born-and-raised Australian citizen who now lives in New York City. I am passionate about embracing diversity, and reaching for inclusion in every space. 

I am a wheelchair user who also has invisible disabilities. I enjoy makeup, reading, art, and attempting to master the French language.  

2023 Update : I am no longer available for any media, projects, studies etc relating to my personal experiences as a disabled woman.

My current professional focus is improving disability inclusion in child protection, particularly through child protection systems strengthening. 

Across the United Nations system and NGOs, I have also worked on general child protection and family support, disability rights, youth empowerment, livelihoods and economic recovery, migration and displacement.  

I hold a Masters in Child and Adolescent Welfare, a Bachelor of Business, and Certificate IV in Community Services.
